I’m Mark Hedberg, DVM, MBA. My career has taken me through veterinary practice, teaching, scientific and medical technology sales, and commercial work across different industries.
Those experiences have given me an interest in the gap between technical expertise and effective outcomes. Having a strong scientific product, understanding a complex subject or knowing how to do the technical work is only part of the picture. Communication, processes, relationships and decisions all influence what happens next.
Through The Systematic Vet, I bring these perspectives together to help science-based organizations and professionals improve commercial operations, communicate more effectively and develop practical systems for working well.
